K-rain sprinklers are great.
I have been using K-Rain heads with my well water irrigation system for about 8 years. The heads stand up to constant use with no percievable damage or problems. The heads are easy to install and simple to adjust.

Overall a reliable product, easily available at major home improvement stores.

5-6 Years In-Service, Only 5" Pop-up
I have used these for about 5 years and am in the midst of replacing a few. One stopped rotating and another seems to get stuck about 30% of the time, but eventually starts rotating again. The best part if these is that they are 5-inch pop-up's so there is good clearance even when the grass has grown or if you want to hide them behind something like a garden bed. The bad part is trying to find these since Home Depot stopped stocking these long ago. Delivery through Amazon appears to be 2-4 weeks, which means you better buy extras or only use these where you really need 5-inch clearance.
EASY
I have now installed 23 K-2 heads on my sprinkler system. This as a result of wanting to upgrade a 25 year old system to more modern technology. I can't say enough about the K-2 heads. They are so easy to install and set. I've been bragging about them to my neighbors and at least one other guy is now using them.
As the remaining maxi-pax heads fail I'll be using the K Rain K-2 heads.

great system, great price
I have had my quick snap sprinklers in ground for 2 months now. I installed them with timers, and 1/2" poly tubing buried about 1 inch deep which I will remove and put away before the cold weather hits (just hate dragging hoses around our large yard). They work great. I had a little trouble adjusting the length of the spray (couldn't see where to put key to adjust) but got an email answer to my question within an hour from the company. Great customer service. I also purchased the gizmo to expel the water from the head at the end of watering season to prevent freezing. THis is a well thought out product, easy to install and adjust. Even when I add in the cost of the poly tubing and the timers this system is so inexpensive compared to traditional in ground systems. I highly recommend Quick-Snap.

Quick Snap Sprinklers
I recently have purchased the Quicksnap Sprinkler system and it works pretty well. I did have a problem with the attachment breaking, but I called and they sent me 5 new model attachments that have worked great. It is somewhat of a hassle moving the hose around, but being that all of the sprinklers are already in place, you don't have to mess with moving the sprinklers, not to mention the ease of snapping it in and out of the sprinklers without having to screw that hose on. Unless you have a couple different outside spigots, you'll probably only be able to use 1, maybe 2 sprinklers at one time. If you're wanting to water your lawn once or twice a week because your grass needs it, but you also want to save a few dollars in the process... I feel this system is the one for you. No, I'm not an employee, nor do I know any of them. I am a real customer living in Terre Haute, Indiana. And I'm happy with the product.
bought 2 in 2011 then 5 in 2012
I purchased 2 of these sprinklers last summer (2011), for our front yard and put then diagonally opposite of each other. They did really well as they covered most of the yard but a small section in one of the corners wasn't getting covered. So this year spring, I decided to order more and put in the back yard so I ordered the 5 pack. At first before installing them in the back yard I thought it would surely take all 5 to cover the entire back yard. However, I decided to install 2 and see how they covered and go from there. As it turns out I only used 4 for the back yard and they all cover the yard quite well and I can even run all 4 at once if I want to. So, I took the 5th one and put it in the front yard where it wasn't quite getting covered enough with water. For the backyard, I use the Y splitter provided and run a hose off of each of that Y to it's own sprinkler. Since I already had a BRASS 4 way splitter I can do this with extra spikets to spare. So, from the house...
