I've used the Orbit 62024 for three years now!
I have used this product for three years now and never have a problem with it. I love that I can connect it to my faucet, easily choose if I want it to water every day or every other day or even every 3rd day. It will turn on automatically for 2 to 90 minutes whatever I have set it to and it is great for vegetable or flower gardens.I have yet to have a problem with it leaking or staying on longer than I have set it for. I do live where the winters are cold so I disconnect them and bring them in every year to guard against freezing. It doesn't take the place of a automatic sprinkler system for your yard, but I suppose it could in a pinch, but for smaller areas I wouldn't be without it. The guarantee is great and I ordered a spare this year just in case I can't find them next year.

Easy to set and will last a long time
I have had one of these for about 8 years and it still works great. It is easy to set and the batteries last all season long. As with any timer, always bring it inside for the cold season to prevent cracking. I was looking for a dual timer and bought a Vigoro that lasted about 2 months (and ate batteries). So now I am gong to buy a second Orbit 62024 instead.
Cheap
While it is easy to program, it started to drip internally and became useless after the first month. I think the design is good, however it seems like the intake and outtake water connections are cheap plastic and can't take daily use. I was very disappointed.
