Anti Syphon Valve - Works Great
One of the things you will learn while you are using underground or over ground water irrigation is, you could get ground contamination in the water supply. In many places, it is actually code to have one of these installed somewhere between your tap and the sprinkler system.
I have a overground sprinkler system installed, so its little more unlikely that I will get a contamination in my water supply, but I got one just incase. An anti syphon valve, is basically a one way valve. It allows water to flow through it one way, but won't let the water backflow the other way. This is what prevents sediment to enter your homes water supply.
Its always better to keep your drinking water cleaner so you don't get sick. Get one of these so you have peace of mind. I bought one of the metal versions though which are higher in quality. I give them a 5 out of 5.
