Gilmour 573 Pistol Grip Spray Nozzle
This spray nozzle performs excellently with positive spray pattern control. The only negative I have to state is that the item illustration is misleading. My previous Gilmour nozzle was chrome plated and as you can see by the picture depicted, that is what you think you are ordering. Unfortunately what I received was a painted nozzle which makes it much more susceptible to scrapes and scratches. Why mislead customers with inaccurate pictorial information?

good but not perfect. either slow spray or a strong gun. no middle mode. no leak. holds good in hand. looks sturdy.
Not Made in the USA
I am not happy that this is not made in the USA. The reason I purchased this was the description said that it is made in the USA. I will be contacting Amazon and Gilmour about this. This is false advertising. I suppose I should have read the reviews first and would have found this out. I have not used this so I cannot comment on the ability of this nozzel to function. I plan on sending this back.

makes a big difference
Worth Every Penny but cheaper elsewhere.

I bought this product for about $10 at a home improvement box store (begins with "L"). This will be the third year I have used it. I bought two more for myself this year and got one for my friend.

I run a lot of hoses long distances around my place, and have found any restrictions to flow in the line will cut performance of a sprinkler head considerably. If you look at the inside opening in the common variety of gated wyes, you will see how small and restrictive the passage is. Not so these babies! I'm really glad Gilmour came to the homeowner market with these. It makes a huge difference.

For hose runs over 100 feet it really pays to use larger 3/4 inch hose and fittings like this one. (I see here at Amazon that people are not happy with the plastic ones though).

built to fail
I bought four of these in the last few months. First one blew apart today after two months. Definitely not built to last.
Aluminum corroded!!!!
Concept is good and for the season it worked. But when we went to disconnect the brass hose fittings they wouldn't budge, and I'd just assembled hand tight in the spring. Finally got it apart with wrenches but half the aluminum threads stayed in the brass fittings and the whole inside is pitted and corroded. Paid the extra $2 for aluminum instead of plastic based on reviews here but still doesn't last more than a season. And we are on municipal water so don't think that's the problem. If that big-box that starts with L sold the brass versions that might be the way to go. But avoid the aluminum (and plastic) ones.

Double the trouble
I purchasced the Dual Spray nozzles for all my Rain Bird sprinklers. The Dual Spray seem to spray every where but where you want as they clog very easily. I am always out in the yard trying to fix the spray pattern and end up giving up and replacing the whole nozzle. The bottom nozzle is directed lower than expected leaving a large puddle closer to the sprinkler. The Dual Nozzle sprinkler heads are also more difficult to adjust and do not spray as far as the single spray heads. Some lower nozzles just spray down rather than out. I recommend staying with the single spray sprinklers.

Works wonderful in a flower bed
I replaced the single spray rainbirds with the dual head for a few months ago due to dying flowers. Perfect in California heat -- no clogging & no problem adjusting.

Bubblers
Great price. Excellent bubbler. I am using a 50 lb pressure reducer on about 100 feet of 1/2 inche pex. The bubblers have plenty of flow, provide a pretty pattern when on, and are easily adjustable. Couldn't be more simple.

Yep, these are drip bubblers.
They work great. I tried to save some money this year by purchasing Orbit branded bubblers instead of the rainbirds, and that was a bad decision. The orbits need to be adjusted constantly to keep a stable flow - these rainbirds do their job without a lot of fussing or adjusting.

I haven't found better drip bubblers yet!
Good little dripper
I love the fact that these are adjustable. It means I can set the output to each plant. They work really well and they are the only ones I use now on my dripper system. The fact that they are already attached to the stake make them easy to set right next to the plant stalk.

Orbit 6 Inch Pop Up Head - Excellent
This Orbit sprinkler head is great for lawns with tall grass. It has 2 possible connectors; one on the side, one on the bottom. The head is so user friendly, being adjustable without any tools, just turn the head with your fingers for a partial arc to full arc spray. If you use one of those small blue flexible accordion type hoses to connect the head with the pipe, its very easy to install with its side connector. Highly recommended.
