They Leak
Two out of the four valves I installed do not shut off completely. That's 50% failure. It is such a huge ordeal in time and money to replace valves you've just installed.

Works great for compress air rocket launcher!
I bought this valve to build the Make magazine compressed air rocket launcher. The valve matches the one used in the directions and I was able to quickly connect to an 18 volt drill battery to open the valve for launches. We typically pump to 50-70 PSI and the valve has no trouble opening under pressure. Has worked great for 100+ launches and counting.
