With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Good starter kit for beginners
This is a good kit to get you started. It is a drip-line irrigation system that works sort of like a soaker hose. It's not the sort that has an emitter for each plant, but for a single 50' line or a twin line of up to 25'. If you want anything else, you will likely need more parts.
It does come with five emitters but these are intended for the odd plant that gets left out of the drip-line pattern.
If you are going to use this is a vegetable garden you will need more emitters (it has one every 18"), and more "T" connectors if you want more than two rows.
The hose kinks easily and resists uncoiling. I had to straighten it out and hold it in place with bricks in the sun for a half hour or so to straighten it.

barely enough to get started
This kit is seriously lacking in parts and directions. It is barely enough to get started. The directions are horrible. I consider myself a fairly handy person and made many mistakes due to having no idea what I was supposed to be doing. I have since figured much more out (www.dripdepot.com) and have pretty good drip irrigation knowledge, I would NOT buy this kit again.
A good start for your watering
This worked well as a start for my garden. We have many plants that need individual drips and I ended up at home depot buying more to supplement the few that came with this kit. That being said it was a great buy for all the basics and I loved their "soaker" hose which wasn't available at home depot.
